Dear Friend of the Sacred Heart,
Truc, a student at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology, needs your help!
Truc is a member of the Vietnamese District who is living and studying at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology. Just last month he renewed his vows as a Priest of the Sacred Heart seminarian.
Like many other seminary students, Truc comes from a low-income family. He is fully dependent on our religious community — and the generosity of benefactors like you — for his tuition, room and board, supplies, clothing and personal transportation.
Seminary education — like most higher education — isn’t cheap. Sadly, many students choose not to pursue this path because their families cannot afford to pay the tuition.
Can Truc and other seminarian students count on your gift this school year?
Supporting the seminary education of a young man during his journey toward religious life can create a ripple effect of God’s love in the world that can continue for years. That is why the Priests of the Sacred Heart set a $10,000 goal to help seminary students.
Together we can support seminarians in their priestly calling. These future priests will lead God’s people in love through pastoral service, mercy, social work, education and missionary activities among the poor. Make a gift before September 15 to help us meet our goal.
YOUR GIFT will help a seminarian like Truc in so many ways:
No calling to the priesthood should be turned away … your support can make sure this doesn’t happen. Will you help provide a young man an endless educational opportunity and make his journey of faith possible? Help prepare the next generation of priests by making a gift today!
Sincerely in the Sacred Heart,
Father Dominic, SCJ
P.S. As students everywhere return to school this month, please share a gift and impact the education of a seminarian at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology.
