This video addresses Fr. Michael van der Peet's relationship with Mother Teresa of Calcutta and her devotion to the Sacred Heart. FatherMichael was Mother Teresa's Spiritual Director for several years and on several occasions he preached retreats to the Missionary Sisters of Charity. He was called to Rome to serve as a consultant in the preparation for her beatification.

A recent book on Mother Teresa's spiritual life has led to much publicity on her "dark night of the soul." Father Michael's video, "'A Light in the Darkness of Our Days," will help us better understand the meaning of faith in our daily lives.

In 2005, Father Paul was honored to participate in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart Guild in Scranton, PA. This all day event began with Mass, followed by Father Paul's talk on "Responding to the Heart of Jesus."

Fr. Paul's passionate presentation reflected his own love of the Sacred Heart and he explained how his love and devotion to Christ has influenced his own spiritual growth.

Fr. Paul had another opportunity to speak again on this same topic to friends and benefactors at Sacred Heart Monastery. Because his message is so vital to our own every day life, we filmed this talk and have made it available to Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).
