(2 Corinthians 13:11)
Dear Friend of the Sacred Heart,
Will you pray for peace with me? As Catholics, you and I are called to carry the peace of Christ within us, and to share His peace with others in the promise of God’s kingdom on earth.
This is what God asks of us in a world where we hear so often about conflict and chaos. Yet, in a world of trouble we can always turn to our faith in Jesus, for He has conquered the world.
Clearly today’s world needs the loving peace of His Sacred Heart.
On October 15, 2017, the Priests of the Sacred Heart will celebrate a special Mass for Peace. Join your prayers with ours as we pray for peace among nations, peace within our country, peace in the family, and peace within our hearts.
I invite you to send me your personal prayers for peace for remembrance at the altar during this Special Mass. Click here to send your intentions.
I also ask that you open your heart to our brothers and sisters struggling to live in peace in parts of the world wounded by war, oppression and intolerance.
With a heartfelt gift of $10, $25 or whatever you can spare, you will help our priests and brothers provide loving care for the poor and fearful…and spread the peace of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Please give as generously as you can. Click here to send your gift. As it is written in Colossians 3:15: And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful.
I hope to include your prayers for peace in our Special Mass on October 15. And in every Mass you attend, may the words “Peace be with You” resonate in your heart.
Sincerely in the Sacred Heart,
Father Dominic, SCJ
