Special Novena for Healing

Dear Friend of the Sacred Heart,

Send Your Prayer Intentions for our Special Healing Novena, august 6-14.

We all know people who are in need of healing.

They may be physically ill or disabled.  They may be enduring spiritual or emotional distress.  Perhaps they have undergone surgery.  They may even be experiencing the anguish of a family crisis or suffering in the grip of alcohol or drug addiction.

We sympathize with their pain, and we struggle to find some way to comfort them.  I have found that one of the most meaningful things we can do is to say, “I will pray for you.”

You and I may never know the depth of their pain.  But Jesus does.  Nothing can express our concern better than prayer – prayer for the comfort and love that only the Sacred Heart can give.

That is why I am celebrating a special Novena of Masses for Healing, beginning on Sunday, August 6, the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord and the First Friday of the month.  For nine days, including the days we honor St. Dominic, St. Lawrence, St. Clare and St. Maximillian Kolbe, the Priests of the Sacred Heart will dedicate special Masses to God’s healing grace.

At this time we will remember all those in need of healing and commend them to His Sacred Heart in prayers asking God to send His divine angels to watch over them and grant them strength of body, spirit and faith.

I invite you to send me the names of those close to you who are in need of the healing love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  I will be honored to remember them in each day in our Healing Novena of Masses beginning on August 6.  Click here to send your prayer intentions.

May His Sacred Heart bless all who join us in prayer for this special Healing Novena, and may He shower His mercy and love upon those in need of His healing touch.

Sincerely in the Sacred Heart,

Father Dominic

P.S.  You may choose to show your care to someone in need of healing by sending a beautiful Healing Folder from the Priests of the Sacred Heart.  It is a truly meaningful way to bring the comfort of Christ’s grace to one who is suffering in body and soul.  When you send us their name, we will enroll them in the Spiritual Society of the Sacred Heart. Click here to request your Healing Folder.
